I set my friends a task — to each draw me one line on a piece of tracing paper.
I then took that tracing paper and placed it over an A to Z, at once using and rejecting the map.
Then we followed the line.

Every once in a while I’ll make one of these re-mapping videos. I’m really interested in mapping and love those artists who take glasses, draw a line around the rim on a map and then follow the line through gardens and elsewhere. I won’t quite be fence-hopping, but I hope that as I move away from points of origination in central London, I’ll be taking more and more peculiar routes.
