I would love to use bookstores more, but not only do I find the lack of deals puts a bit of a bind on my wallet, but the kind of books I read are normally hidden away in shop corners, or not even sold there. right — but unless something is out of print or reprinting or out of stock at the wholesaler you can ALWAYS order it (for free) at a bookshop and it normally takes a week at most to get there, unless you’re ordering it from overseas (because it’s not published in your country) in which case it can take a month. Amazon isn’t full of a “selection” of anything. It’s not curated content. It’s just stuff, at cheap prices, because they don’t pay their fucking taxes and because publishers let them get away with everything.
